Brochure
Children’s rights and state of emergency
This new brochure on children’s rights has been developed to raise awareness among both children and adults about children’s rights and responsibilities, as well as the role of adults in upholding them. The brochure includes information on actions to take in case of a child’s detention.
The brochure was created as part of the project “Strengthening the Capacity of Specialists on Children’s Access to Justice and Monitoring the Situation of Children’s Rights in Closed Institutions”. This project is being implemented by Penal Reform International in Central Asia in partnership with the Commissioner for Human Rights and the Commissioner for Children’s Rights, and with the support of the Representative Office of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in Kazakhstan.
