PRI In collaboration with Foundation for Human Rights Initiative (Uganda), constructed this report on the status of the death penalty in East Africa (Kenya and Uganda).

In view of the UN Secretary General’s forthcoming report on the question of the death penalty to the 21st session of the UN Human Rights Council (September 2012), civil society organisations are invited to share information covering relevant developments since 1 July 2011 on the question of the death penalty across the globe.
