We work in partnership with a range of international organisations, networks and multilateral organisations.
For example, we partnered with the Association for the Prevention of Torture (APT), to develop a Detention Monitoring Tool for monitoring bodies and contributed to APT’s multi-country research on torture prevention mechanisms.
We are working with Defence for Children International (DCI) to promote a global study on children deprived of their liberty and have held joint side-events at international conferences on juvenile justice.
We have provided technical advice, training and materials to the UN OHCHR Gender Unit to promote the UN Bangkok Rules to improve the treatment of women and girls in the criminal justice system.
We are active members of various international networks, including the World Coalition against the Death Penalty, working with other human rights organisations globally to strengthen the international struggle against the death penalty through lobbying activities, sharing information and resources and organising events which have an international impact.
