PRI’s juvenile justice training will target Child Protection Committees, established by Egyptian child Law 2008, in each governorate of Egypt.

Topics covered during the training will include: the main principles of restorative justice, International Human Rights Standards, alternatives to imprisonment and after care programmers.

During the four days of training the roles of the Child Protection Committees in protecting juveniles and implementing Egyptian child law will be discussed.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn more about practical experiences of implementing diversion measures and providing social protection for juveniles in Jordan and the United Arab Emirates.
