PRI has members in over eighty countries across five continents. PRI members play a important role in informing the work of the organisation and helping to set the organisation’s agenda for reform.

Our membership scheme enables individuals to make contact with penal reformers worldwide and support practical programmes working on prison reform, the reduction in the use of imprisonment, promoting alternatives to custody and the abolition of the death penalty. Members can also access information on penal reform in their own countries and worldwide.
