Publications and Resources | Juvenile Justice Manual |
|
Published in 2007 This practical toolokit was prepared by PRI and published by UNICEF. It contains teaching modules and materials intended for use on juvenile justice training courses and workshops. The key message of the manual is to encourage the development of an effective juvenile justice system which safeguards the rights of the child. The manual provides practical programmatic approaches to juvenile justice which focus on tackling the over-reliance on deprivation of liberty. It does not specifically address juvenile delinquency prevention, however it recognises that the aim of a juvenile justice system is also to prevent offending and re-offending.
